HOW DOES IT WORK?
A topical numbing cream is applied to the lip 30 mins before the treatment to ease with the pin point prick. HA is injected with a syringe into the lip to add volume or correct symmetry. The newly injected HA will bind to water molecules to increase volume below the skin to create a plumper appearance. The HA is not permanent and can be corrected or dissolved if needed. HA can typically last anywhere from 9-18 months depending on the area and the amount of movement.
WHAT TO EXPECT OVERALL?
You may experience some pin point bleeding, redness and some swelling. Most of the swelling will be gone in a 2-4 days. Many people thinking about fillers are worried about looking “over done”.
